DSET collaborates with the University of Girona to convert web EEL on a single platform for all faculties of the University of Girona. The breaks in the workplace allow students to do placements in enterprises, in order to complete their education and gain practical experience, bringing the reality of the industry and the labor market in college.
One of the important elements in the adaptation of curricula to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) has been the need to incorporate the work and professional experience outside the university as part of the training period. This has resulted in the University of Girona with the inclusion in all undergraduate and master of internships as subjects generally optional, present in all curricula.

Business practices are the model of quality internships for students of the University of Girona. Stays of practices are formalized through agreements of practices (educational cooperation agreements or collaboration framework agreements). Through the internship agreement, the student has the opportunity to implement the acquired knowledge, while providing their work in the company.
